LET'R BE (Farewell Concert)
The Beat Meatles (Fall 1964)

Before the Beatles, there were the Beat Meatles.

In the fall of 1964, a band of four small-town butchers from Northern Ontario took the stage for what would unknowingly become the Beat Meatles' final performance. The show took place in Earl McDougall's backyard, where a crowd of friends, neighbours, and curious locals gathered under the warm evening sky.

Among them was a local recording enthusiast who captured the entire performance on tape. Convinced he had documented something special, he later financed a small commercial pressing run at a regional vinyl plant. Only a few hundred records were produced before the project quietly disappeared.

Most of those albums have since been traded, damaged, discarded, or lost to time. Today, only a handful of original pressings are believed to remain, making surviving copies among the rarest artifacts of Northern Ontario's forgotten music scene.

Printed on a soft, lightweight tri-blend with a broken-in feel and a clean, durable finish. Pre-shrunk with a regular fit that wears easy and holds its shape. Made to order to reduce overproduction - because pieces like this don’t stick around.
