Link Lloyd (1972)
Northern Ontario, 1972.
One trip too many. "I'm pretty sure that was a loon..." was what people were saying.
Pressed in small numbers and quietly forgotten, Lake Side of the Loon became one of the most elusive records in Canadian underground music history. A cold prism of light cuts through the darkness while a lone loon drifts beneath it—familiar, but slightly off, as though remembered from a dream.
No chart history.
No reissues.
No interviews.
Just one of those records that feels like it shouldn't exist... but somehow does.
Recovered from the Bud Bungalow Archives.
