SNOWHAND
Erick Clampton (1976)

Before Eric Clapton, there was Erick Clampton.

Born in Ontario's Far North, Clampton grew up among winter roads, trap lines, and some of the coldest inhabited places in Canada.  His guitar style was shaped by long winters, frozen rivers, and the vast silence of the northern wilderness, creating a sound unlike anything being recorded elsewhere at the time.

His 1973 album Snowhand introduced what critics later called Northern Drift Music - a sparse, atmospheric blend of folk, blues, and haunting guitar melodies that seemed to capture the sound of snow, ice, and endless northern horizons. Pressed in small numbers and largely forgotten for decades, Snowhand remains a cult favourite among collectors and is widely regarded as one of Northern Ontario's most unique lost recordings.

Printed on a soft, lightweight tri-blend with a broken-in feel and a clean, durable finish. Pre-shrunk with a regular fit that wears easy and holds its shape. Made to order to reduce overproduction - because pieces like this don’t sit on shelves for long.
